The 2018 Hyundai Tucson SE is the starter trim, and comes with durable, basic interior upholstery and solid plastics. Cloth seating is standard, and the driver’s seat is six-way manually adjustable. Power door locks and windows are standard, as is a remote keyless entry system with alarm and panic button. A six-speaker audio system is controlled through the 5-inch color touchscreen, and Bluetooth streaming audio and hands-free phone is standard. These can all be controlled through steering-wheel-mounted buttons as well.

Hyundai Tucson SEL

Stepping up to the SEL isn’t a big jump in price, but it brings plenty of creature comforts to the vehicle. It starts with an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat with power lumbar support. Hyundai Tucson SEL Plus

The SEL Plus trim is the highest trim level with the base engine – the Value and Limited trims are only available with the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. Leather upholstery is standard in the SEL Plus, as is an 8-way power passenger seat, along with all of the features on the Sport trim. An eight-speaker Infinity® Premium Audio System with Clari-Fi™ Music Restoration technology is standard, running through an 8-inch color touchscreen display with navigation. Blue Link Connected Car System is also standard.

Hyundai Tucson Value

The Value trim is extremely similar to the SEL trim, but with the upgraded engine. The only other differences are the panoramic sunroof and the hands-free smart liftgate with auto open and adjustable height setting. This liftgate opens automatically when you stand directly behind the vehicle with the key in your pocket, great for when you’ve got your hands full of bags.

Hyundai Tucson Limited

At the top of the range is the Limited trim. It includes everything from the SEL Plus trim, as well as the hands-free liftgate from the Value trim.
